I simply love design & creativity

I’m a professional daydreamer and problem solver who loves nature and the arts. I am also autistic and a neurodiversity inclusion advocate. I use creativity to bring my clients original, beautiful, and effective design and marketing. I live and work in the beautifully diverse and eclectic Stroud, a town in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, UK. I relocated to Gloucester back in 2008 from my home town of Newcastle Under Lyme in Staffordshire. Stroud is a wonderful place that I call home, filled with a rich network of artists, musicians, writers, poets, performers, wellbeing practitioners and environmental organisations.

Nature is my inspiration in life and business, and my passion for design stems from a childhood fascination with its beauty and complexity. I practice ‘natural mindfulness’ for health and wellbeing, and I’m passionate about preserving and protecting the natural world.

I’m thankful to have known a world before graphic design changed to a computer-based profession and when the print industry used printing plates for production. I am a multidisciplinary artist who can draw, paint, and use digital skills to create.

I can be found regularly behind a camera lens, capturing inspiration from the world around me, as photography is another of my lifelong passions.

Core values

I live by the bohemian ideal of ‘truth, beauty and love’ and pride myself on being ethical and honest at all times. My key strengths are creative ingenuity, problem-solving, attention to detail, being a great listener, motivation, and genuinely caring for my clients and their businesses. I promote love, compassion, equality and the urgency for a sustainable future.

People I love to work with

I love working with passionate people who love what they do, are honest and transparent, and have strong ethics and green values. If this is you, then I'd love to work with you.

If you'd like to work with someone who says what they think, seeks what's best for the business, not just for you, creates or steers design, branding and writing that works and strategic advice that grows your business - then it's time to see if I'm a good fit for you?

Art, photography & Poetry

I began a career as a graphic designer back in 1997 with a background in fine art, photography, and design. I’m a graduate of the University of Wolverhampton and went to the best college in the world (according to me, naturally), Newcastle-Under-Lyme Tertiary College. That college instilled in me the desire to experiment creatively, which gave me a great grounding in the arts and design.

I love to paint and sketch and create photographic art and promote myself as a mindful artist. I love to escape into nature to recharge and seek inspiration, not only for my art and poetry but also for my creative life. Nature is a great grounder and provides an abundance of fascination for me. My art focuses on the beauty of nature, and I have had my work exhibited nationally and internationally.

I’m a published Arts Council funded poet and the Director of The Gloucestershire Poetry Society. I perform my work at events locally and nationally. I’m also booked as a Headline and Guest Poet for open mic events, business events, charity fundraisers and festivals. I run poetry and creative writing workshops for poets and writers, as well as business people and teams, to boost wellbeing and creativity. I’ve been published in online magazines. For me, poetry is an incredibly powerful creative process and provides a constant boost to my overall creativity and problem-solving skills.

Aside from the above, I run Steel Jackdaw Magazine, an art and literary journal created during the UK COVID Lockdown to bring creative inspiration to people and promote positive environmental and social action.

Jason, you are such a talented guy and thoroughly deserve recognition for all of your hard work. I’ve always admired the passion, professionalism and ethics you demonstrate in every project you undertake.
