Jason Conway is the QuarkXPress design contest winner

My shortlisted entry in the QuarkXPress design contest was chosen as the winning design https://www.quark.com/qxpcontest

This was an international design contest to design the splash screen for the next update of QuarkXPress DTP and web publishing software. The winning design will be displayed each time the software is launched.

My illustration was created using the application and is a visual representation of DTP software in abstraction and the creative possibilities of QuarkXPress.

This news has made my year so far and renewed my confidence in my creative ability as a 51-year-old graphic designer. I love design and have been using Quark since the early 90s when I taught myself how to use the software during my Product Design Degree at Wolverhampton Uni.

So today, I have a great reason to be cheerful ☺️
